Long John Silver’s on Washington Pike in Scott was shut down by the Allegheny County Health Department because of a sewage system failure.
“Severe sewage odor present … raw sewage is coming out of the rear of the building and flowing east …,” the inspection report stated.
“Plumbers suggested multiple collapses …. The operator is currently waiting on a repair estimate,” according to the report.
There was no answer at the restaurant Tuesday afternoon.
Inspection reports for food facilities in the county are available at eapps.alleghenycounty.us/restaurant/.
