Post-Gazette strikers and labor allies are cooking — and also baking, stirring and mixing — up support with a “Seasoned With Solidarity” dessert cookbook.
The cookbook is the byproduct of the ’Tis the Season for Solidarity bake sale held last month by United Steelworkers Local 3657’s fundraising and organizing committees and USW District 10. Those organizers are seeking recipes for the cookbook; the proceeds of which will benefit the Pittsburgh Striker Fund, which gives financial assistance to members of the five unions that have been on strike from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette since October 2022.
