Anyone who loves to ice skate who passed by the UPMC Rink at PPG Place, Downtown, on Tuesday morning had to feel a pang of “I wish I were out there.”
The ice was smooth and hard. There were only a couple of skaters. It was a beautifully sunny, blue-skied February day.
The rink is on the downhill side of its season, which ends Feb. 25.
Here’s how you still can get on the ice: https://www.ppgplace.com/directory/the-rink.
