“How much rain fell in the last 4 days? The simple answer is: too much,” National Weather Service Pittsburgh posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday.
For reference, according to NWS Pittsburgh, rainfall for Pittsburgh is at 4.19 inches so far for April while the total for the entire month of March was 3.25 inches.
As the region continues to clean up from the record flooding, AccuWeather forecasts that Friday will be cloudy, breezy and cold, with rain and snow showers in the morning followed by a brief shower or two in the afternoon. High temperature will be 43 degrees.
