After all that rain, snow, hail and graupel, more pleasant spring weather started coming back this weekend. Sunday morning’s temperature was still in the 30s, but the sun was out, and so were all sorts of blooms on the ground and in the trees along the Montour Trail’s Bethel Park Branch that connects with the main trail in Peters.

As the temperature climbed, so did the number of walkers, dog walkers and joggers. One man pedaled along with his fishing pole on his back, surely headed to make a go at the second day of trout season.

High temps were expected to be back in the 60s Monday.

Spring seems to be back on track … and on trail.
