Pittsburgh Post-Gazette striker and Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh unit chair Andrew Goldstein was one of several strikers who took shifts representing, trading shirts for donations and talking about the 22-month-old strike with attendees at the United Steelworkers Health, Safety and Environment Conference at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Downtown.
The conference, which “brings together activists, union leadership and other interested peers eager to acknowledge the latest developments in their area of interest,” continues through Friday.
The PUP is the publication of the striking workers at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
