U.S. Steel Irvin Plant’s bald eagle Stella fought through the wind and snow and delivered a second egg around 8:41 Sunday evening.
Media representative Andrew Fulton provided a link to the video that shows the difficult weather: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-11tDf4TMUQ.
Incubation should take about 35 days, so long as the egg is viable, he wrote in an email. The first egg of 2025 was delivered last Thursday.
Fulton wrote that this camera gives the best view of the nest, which is located on a tree near Route 837: U.S. Steel Bald Eagle Camera Live view cam 1.
Faithful bald eagle watchers and members of Steel City Eagles Facebook group watched the nest and lauded proud father Irvin for bringing dry fluff to the soaked nest. He brought Stella a fish breakfast, too, and shared incubation duties Monday morning, according to posts there.
